close-in on the East side of the Willamette river are a good option, as many
are within walking distance of the convention center, and you can also catch
the TriMet light rail train and ride to downtown for free (as it is located
within “fareless square” all the way to the Lloyd Center stop).
Or, if you like the convenience of quick air travel, then you’ll want to
select hotels in Portland out near Portland International Airport.
