Sunderland neighborhood is a mix of residential, industrial, and the Riverside Golf and Country Club, which is situated directly in the center of the community. Its shares a border with Portland International Airport and has direct access to I-5, I-205, and Highways 99 and 30.
Sunderland is also home to the Oregon Food Bank. The organization’s mission is to eliminate hunger and its root causes. They work to provide access to nutritious food to all through equitable distribution, community building, and cross-network efforts across Oregon and southwest Washington.

Sunderland Acres offers lavender-based products like candles, body sprays, and sachets, as well as culinary lavender buds. When you visit, look for the farm’s two resident donkeys!

Sunderland has an eclectic vibe with many of Portland’s supply and distribution centers and warehouses located within its borders, juxtaposed to the pristine, manicured Riverside Golf and Country Club directly in its center. On the northern boundary of Sunderland, you’ll find wetlands, which include the Columbia Slough, and attracts wildlife and migrating waterfowl. A little over 1,700 Portlanders call Sunderland home.
